NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SPECIFICATION #10-14

The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority, Camden County, New Jersey will receive sealed bids for MULTIMEDIA FILTER REPALCEMENT AND REPAIR AT OUR WINSLOW WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY.

Bids will be received until 11:00 AM, prevailing time on the 23th day of SEPTEMBER 2010 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the first floor conference room at the CCMUA Administration Building, 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey.

Copy of documents and specifications are available at the Authority's Purchasing Office, 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey 08104. Phone (856) 583-1204, Donna Chiodi (email donnac@ccmua.org) or (856) 583-2306 for Linda Doherty (email linda@ccmua.org).

No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled date and time of opening bids. Faxed bids will not be accepted.

Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et.seq., pertaining to Affirmative Action, a copy of which is on file with the Authority.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a guarantee payable to the Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority. The proposal guarantee shall be in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000 pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21, and shall be given at the option of the bidder by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. If contract IS awarded, the bidder shall enter in contract thereof and shall furnish a Performance Bond (100% of contract price) as guarantee.

The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject any or all proposals.

All bidders and their subcontractors competing for CCMUA contracts must provide a copy of their Business Registration Certificate at the time the bid is submitted. Failure to do so is a fatal defect in your bid proposal which cannot be cured.

This bid is being solicited through the "Fair & Open process" provided by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20-4 et seq.
