CONTRACT NO. 613
DOCUMENT STORAGE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS REPLACEMENT
Sealed Bids for Contract No. 613 CCMUA- Document Storage Fire Suppression Systems Replacement (will be received by The Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority office, located at 1645 Ferry Avenue, Camden, New Jersey 08101-1432 until 11:00 a.m. on August 6, 2024, and then at said office opened and read aloud publicly.
There are several document storage facilities owned by CCMUA and located at its Administration Building at 1645 Ferry Ave., and at its Camden County Water Resource Recovery Facility (CCWRRF) at 200 Jackson St, Camden NJ 08104. Each storage facility currently has water and Halon fire suppression system respectively. The work under this project requires contractor to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, design services, and permits required for:
1. Selective demolition and disposal of current fire suppression system.
2. Configuration, furnishing, installation and permitting of new FE-25 Fire Suppression System including all new equipment, piping, fittings, supports, agent storage containers, electrical, instrumentation, controls, HVAC work, and control panels, as required for a complete and operational system and in accordance with NFPA 2001 requirements.

In the event of any inconsistencies between this advertisement, as published, and the bid documentation, the bid documentation shall control.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be as indicated in the Bid Form.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10;5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1999, c. 238 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq,), New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act, where applicable.
Proposals are being solicited through a “Fair And Open Process” in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.4, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law.
The Successful Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold or obtain any such licenses as required by State Statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations required to lawfully complete the work described in these contract documents.

The Owner reserves the right to reject all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all minor informalities in any Bid received and to accept the lowest responsible responsive bid all in accordance with applicable law.
A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten (10) percent of Bidder’s Bid price, but not in excess of $20,000, and in the form of a certified check or bank money order or a Bid Bond (on the form attached) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions
and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. In addition, Bid must be accompanied by a consent of surety consistent with N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-22 and 2A:44-143 et seq.
